The new design features a shorter muffler for an improved sporty look, which exits the side of the motorcycle for visual impact. Power increases by 3.3 kW (4.5 hp) at 9,600 rpm compared to consecutive tests on an MT-09 with a Racing Line exhaust (carbon) and a standard exhaust system. The sporty racing sound is perfectly matched to the engine. It is designed for use on closed track competition tracks and circuits. The exhaust system is compatible with Yamaha hard cases and center stand accessories. When installing the Racing Line (Carbon) exhaust system the check engine light may appear.
